Bands breaking....SOLVED! I have tried this probably a dozen times. Rainbow loom brand bands kept breaking. For the length I need, I was using 2 and a half looms. To solve the breaking problem, I did 3 things, 1. Made sure bands were completely off the peg when looped forward. 2. After looping 3 sections, I took the 1st section off the sides and continued to remove the sides as I went. 3. Every so often, I removed the bracelet from the middle pegs. Essentially removing the bracelet as i went. This seemed to have removed the tension enough to keep the bands from breaking!

I also found that cheaper and thus softer loombands worked well for this, mine kept breaking as well and when I got a cheap box for 6 bucks it suddenly did work perfectly fine because they were more stretchy

I haven't been able to get through this entire pattern even once without having a rubber band snap from somewhere lower on the bracelet. And as soon as one snaps, usually several more go from the tension getting even higher. And I have no clue how to go in and replace the ones that have snapped, either. When I tried to replace one, four more snapped. Eventually I gave up and just started over, just to have the same thing happen all over again. What am I doing wrong? I don't understand how it's even possible to finish this!

The looping made no sense. Do you pull over the top half of the border or both?? I did everything u said and it broke. **** i figured out a easy way to loop the bands. Hook the top half of ur boarder band to the center . way less confusing..
