@@user-hi5vm4vh8t As someone who has made a Mario 64 romhack before, I can tell you that it is definitely possible. After the level is loaded, the game stores all of the collision triangles in one big array. It would be trivial to iterate it and change the collision type of each triangle to quicksand. The only issue would be object geometry, as that is deserialized and reloaded every single frame that Mario is close enough to the objects. Even this could probably be worked around with enough effort.

Then mass Squish to buy time, X4 Kill Player just to make extra sure he gets warped to outside, and then remove Snowman's Land and Whomp's Fortress stars. Thank you Mark for the very helpful information. Edit: I guess use the remaining money to Kill Player and spam knockback for a little bit in succession to keep him dying. Or snipe him with Knockback in Wing Cap red coin star.
