1) Thank you so much for the RT shoutout! Made my day! 2) I am also in the non-oatmeal boat -- but I adore maple brown sugar Cream of Wheat. Since you add your own water you can make it as gooey hot-cereal or solid as you want (I prefer the later), but it suffers from "Part of a Balanced Breakfast" so you need to use like 4 packets to make it "This Is Actually Just The Only Thing Im Eating For Breakfast"

brown sugar malt-o-meal is my go to "oatmeal" for people like me who hate oatmeal. it's pretty similar to cream of wheat but the box is just a box not packets

First time writer, long time farter. My personal solution for oatmeal was after heating, I add frozen blueberries, cinnamon, and one square of 70%+ baking chocolate. Then mix it all with a spoon. Love you all and wish you all well

May I suggest to you and Tina -- baked oats !! Theres a lot of recipes out there that can be made with oats or oat flour or both together, chocolate and sweet or fruity , lots of options !! They been my grind for breakfasts for a month now , very good .

I put oatmeal in my rice cooker with extra salt, throw in some fruit and cook it until the water is gone. So good.

Do you cook the porridge oats with milk until they get thick and solidify, because that's how it's supposed to be. The Scots would take slices of porridge to eat at work. I have mine with cinnamon and nutmeg, but having it solid in a bowl with some cold milk over it to help cool it is traditional in my N. Irish/Scottish family.

That actually sounds really nice. We have these little packets of single-serving porridge oats in the UK, you are supposed to tip them into a bowl and then fill up the sachet with milk to measure it out, then microwave it. It put 3 sachets of oats in a bowl and 1 sachet of milk, so it's really thick. It's not proper unless you can stand the spoon up in it!

Hey Tina! There are some really cute, men’s size Christmas sweaters online at Hot Topic, Boxlunch, GameStop, and Spencer’s. Hot Topic and Boxlunch online have the Heat Miser and Snow Miser, plus lots of Christmas Story and National Lampoon themed ones along with lots of other fandoms, including Studio Ghibli. They’re all really good quality and soft, too. 💛❤️💛❤️💛

Have you an tina tried making oatmeal breakfast bars? I hate oatmeal wet but i love an apple oatmeal bar.

While I too dislike oatmeal, I know it can be made savory. Have you tried it with some butter and cheddar melted in, salted/peppered and a fried egg on top? Possibly sauteed mushrooms or sausage or something mixed in to add textural variety and enough flavor per bite to make it palatable. I've seen spinach in it, and some people top it with avocado. Worst case I guess you can try a bite with hot sauce or soy sauce or something. I do actually like the no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies if you just want to intake it, but it's basically just eating chocolate.

Omg I’m with them both on the oatmeal thing. No matter how many ways I try it, it just doesn’t hit for me. I don’t like the texture or the taste but I want to be able to like it. I had this issue with rice and fish, but recently I’ve been able to eat those, but I don’t think it’ll be the case with oatmeal, sadly.
