She then spent like like 2+ hours trying to get to 10k. This achievement is what broke me I use to go for every achievement I could but now I just get the ones that I get. I don't actively try to get achievements anymore.

Ray you should ABSOLUTELY play the other Mass Effect games. I absolutely despise the first one, especially because there are virtually no checkpoints. I lost a fight to Liara's mother and restarted AT THE FUCKING MAKO. (Also that's why I hate the mako so much) But Mass Effect 2 I firmly believe is the best game I've ever played.
