Fun fact about the Dice rolls in Mario Party One: they’re all picked at the start of the game. A string of numbers is picked from the beginning. For example in the chain 2 8 9 3 4 5 Player one rolls a 2, player two rolls an 8, player three rolls a 9. The only thing that throws it off is the mushroom spaces. If player two rolls an 8 and lands on a mushroom, and then goes again, the next roll would be a 9. Meaning Player three would then roll a 3.

I don't think that's quite how it works. Yeah the rolls are determined at the start for turn orders but what you roll during each turn is decided during the mini game result screen.

After watching the entire series, I can say that moments like @1:01:25 are exactly why Chilled and Platty lose so badly to Ray - they say they'll make an alliance, then one of them "betrays" that alliance, the other gets petty and only goes after the other even if that's not always the smart move. Meanwhile, Ray remains neutral and is left to just play the game unimpeded. As for Ze... well, that becomes apparent in later games (he often goes into minigames without reading the rules, so he's almost always at a disadvantage).

If you pause the game when he holds up the sign, you can see through the transparent menu what button you need to press in order to win. It's an exploit, not a cheat, so just say that when everyone calls you out for doing it.
