I really hope they do something with Jake again at some point. The actual like epilogue to this game implies he's just kinda out there fighting B.O.Ws by himself and I think that would (could, rather) be really cool to see followed up on. I'd take a manga, even.

Just a heads up for Ada's story (Buggiest and funniest story)... the other person plays as Agent (I call him Hunk), but when Ada makes progress Hunk magicly teleports and when in the helicopter Hunk can't really shoot the boss as the helicopter angle is all wrong for him, lol. So whoever plays Hunk don't give him a hard time as buggy things are happening. I've been there and done it... I was just like wtf is going on? ; D

If I remember correctly, it was strictly a solo campaign and later on they added co-op in the most poor way. 😂

The only thing I remember from this campaign is getting annoyed at sliding down in the blizzard all the time. Good news though, they've only got Ada's left who I think is slightly more puzzle focused? So maybe that'll be better for them

The Bear Commander is found in Chapter 3 in the area where you deposit the ID medals. They had an extra 2 medals. Pretty sure there’s 12 medals total, and depositing the last two opens a door to the Bear Commander and extra ammo

I remember playing RE6 with a friend of mine and we always played with Jake and Sherry cause he loved pulling off all the melee stuff once it gets upgraded. Ten blocks of stamina and you can do some wacky shit with him

You know, if you mentally seperate this from Resident Evil and just look at it as a stupid co-op game to play with your buddies? It actually looks like a lot of fun. Gameplay changes to keep things exciting, incredibly cheesy one liners, dramatic explosions and stupid moments... exactly the shit I want in a co-op game. As a RE game it's garbage, and there are some STRANGE choices, but as a co-op game with a homie? I kinda wanna play it.

"Survival horror franchise by the way" RE2: Rocket launcher against flaming tyrant, gigantic sponge birkin eating train RE3: The nemesis has a flamethrower, rocket launcher, there's a wave defense, and a dodge mechanic RE4: Roundhouse kick an entire village of people just because one is stunned (an identical mechanic in this trilogy of 4 5 6!) RE7: Driving a car in a donut in a garage, giga mold grandma erupts from house, mode where you feed Jack food But RE6 with the "you're about to fucking crash and die" is totes too out there for resident evil. It's getting really annoying to see jabs just because of the name, not actually thinking "Hmm isn't this "issue" basically identical to the mechanics in the game we all jack off every week?" Seriously, any shitpick from 6 you can pick from 4 and 5.

I think the difference is those are a few specifics moments in what is otherwise a resource management survival horror games( other than 4 but 4 was more action than survival horror) but that’s all 6 is on top of being not very good for a slew of other reasons.

@@undercover7923 Yup. I actually like the vast majority of RE6. Having multiple campaigns and playable characters, the gunplay is great, the J'avo are an interesting take on the "smart" zombies. But there's so much jank involved (campaign not explaining shit until Ada's campaign, stretched out campaigns, so many fucking QTEs) that it drags down the experience.

There's El Gigante as a giant in 4, but noooo, RE4 we suck that jankpile off, you're not allowed to have actual bioweapon giant in 6. 4 is as polished as Resident Evil Survivor. Imagine RE4 remake but it doesn't look like a caramel flurry, you don't walk at an angle to where your camera points. Imagine it actually functioning well like videogames did even before it. RE4 was not the first ever game without a fixed camera, how the fuck did they fuck it up to where you moved at an off angle?

The difference with RE2 and RE3 is that those moments aren't literally the entire game. They are very specific points that are either at the end of the game or close to it. In RE6 the entire damn game is just constant over the top action. Personally I don't like RE4, I don't think it is a good RE game, I genuinely don't know why anyone likes it because I think it is just as bad as 5 (also not a good RE game imo) and 6. For RE7 yea I can give you the bit with the car being kind of whacky, but the giga mold grandma is literally the final scene of the game, again not the whole thing. I think the feeding Jack food thing is irrelevant, it's a silly tacked on minigame mode like tofu survivor. I really do think that 4-6 as a trilogy are just awful, but 6 is miles worse for a variety of reasons. To deny that is just silly.
