On MBG Channel he talks about Sony working on a new From Soft IP. He talks about Sony has been working on a Elden Ring Series before the game was announced. With another From Soft series down the years I'm hoping it's Bloodborne. Dell when AJSA was watching that Xbox premiere and starfield ended I was like ok this is going to be a Syfy Fallout 4, and the majority of those planets are going to be desolate wastelands.

I will never understand people foregoing the source material in these cases. When portraying historical figures, people do homework. Playing these games are a form of homework. The only time it's ever been acceptable, is when the adaptation is clearly going a different way (like, for instance, CP77: Edgerunners, or 2001 Monte Cristo, where they changed the entire 3rd act, re-contextualizing all the motivations of the book characters). If they don't respect the source, even when they change it, they shouldn't work on it.

As for Plants vs Star Wars...I'm a story gamer, so I would be willing to roll the dice on a crappy SW game, as opposed to a well done Plants game that I'll never play. But ideologically, they should make the Plants game, because good SW games are a rarity.

It really depends. Are both games still being made by EA? If so, Plants v Zombies. I have no desire to see EA touch Star Wars (except for Respawn) ever again.

I dont think Starfield will suck. I think it will be an ok game. It won't be the next Witcher 3 and I think people are getting way overhyped for it, cause I think people are expecting another Skyrum.

Lastly: no faith in Bethesda. I regularly go back to Del's roast of Starfield...I think I'll go watch that now in fact, lol. In an interview about Skyrim, you could feel how salty Todd was, that they hadn't been able to monetize Skyrim and mods to the degree that people still play the game; and then a season later, the Creation Club garbage launched. So no, I don't expect anything from Bethesda proper anymore. Their subsidiaries are keeping them afloat, when they allow it (unlike what happened with Prey). Starfield will likely be 20% compelling content, and the rest as banal as any Ubisoft collect-a-thon. And that saddens me. I'd like to be wrong, but evidence doesn't support such hope.

I would agree you don't have to consume every single part of a series to understand it, but you should at least get a start somewhere. The decision sounds like they don't want the actors fighting them, or they want to get the actors play a part different from the games.

The Last of Us game is already perfect. We don't need a tv show because tv studios can ruin what is already good (just look at Halo or The Ring of Power). Lastly, the world needs more Plant vs Zombies games.

Who cares how many devs are working on Starfield... Again it has always been about QUALITY not Quantity... So no I don't trust it will be a good game nor do I care. I rather see PvZ than a Star Wars game, mainly because FUCK SW the franchise is so dead for me and I hope it would just die already And the LoU HBO series will be bad, the question is just how...as just that's what they do. (also who the fuck thinks LoU 2 was good?) And yes I also love many of the movie adaptations, because they are so bad that they are good for example the Paul W. S. Anderson Resident Evil
