I have trolled for trout, around urban local lakes in my area during winter time but nothing too special and had 1 failed trip at cle'elum lake when it was frozen over, but the Mountain View covered in snow was spectacular to see for the first time even though we didn't catch any fish. any ideas on good fishing areas that are open during the winter time?

I know exactly where you’re at, but i wont give away your highly trafficed spot lol i’ve hooked onto 3 a little further up the river but they popped off each time. Once on a twitching jig, twice on a spinner.
