Most people with gender dysphoria either lived according to their biology in public or were classified as crossdressers (which is actually something different since not all crossdressers have dysphoria). Therefore people with gender dysphoria had a better reputation when people barely understood the concept, compared to the last five years in which these horrible activists and narcissists became their public face. These people have done harm to both those not involved and trans people in general. They have made things worse instead of better.
