I love it here. The energy is special. I'm fascinated by the folklore of the nearby pwll tra, pool of avarice...it is said that a house was swallowed in to the pool and on stormy nights the screams of people can still be heard.

Great, there are lots of smaller mounds further back along the top towards cwmbran. Happy memories of walking up there with Richard many years ago.

Yes. It's an amazing place and it's disappointing to see the lack of acknowledgement of the ancient British parts.

I know this was only a short video but I have so much more information about twmbarlwm!! I think I wrote something a while ago and never sent to you Ross i will get your email and send. There was an archaeological dig on the north side just uo from the twmp in August last year funded by the twmbarlwm society and I'm pretty sure they found iron age pottery and in regards to the water there is a spring that comes out the Darren escarpment side

Well one thing I've noticed is BARLWM does sound like the word BALAM which luke in his videos says it very likely means Jesus, just an observation, we know where he his buried but as soon as I saw this word I was immediately drawn to BALAM in lukes videos,

forget the nonsense on the plack fact is artifacts were found on and around twmbarlwm eg flint arrow heads and a stone with a hole used for spinning thread (wool more likely)the burial chamber is to the west of the tump somewhat flattened the assumption that the tump was made by normans is complete supposition there is another reason for the tump that being a sighting mound see( Alfred Watkins old straight track ) interestingly there is also a standing stone near druidstone house Druidstone road newport which when the sun is at 12 noon its shadow points directly to twmbarlwm so is part of the star map capricorn king barams daddy is buried on the boat shape mound at porthkerry but you already know this i believe the reason King Baram isnt mentioned is the academics drip drip drip effect of the establishment Narrative of the history of the khumri

Thanks George. Have you some more details on the druid stone? It seems very likely that such a prominent site would figure in the star lore as well. heddwch

@@BritainsHiddenHistoryRoss the only other small piece of information I have is the stone has cup marks on it now here's the thing gold coins the shape of cup marks were found in Brandenburg Germany there was an article on the net covering this my apologies Ross but I haven't got a link for that info it seems to me to be too much of a coincidence that these coins have the same shape as the cup marks on standing stones Now I might be barking up the wrong tree but it seems as bit odd that these cup shaped coins are cup shaped like the cup shaped in standing stones that's as much as I know at this point best regards George

That plaque was written by a complete ignoramus Ross. Never mind it being Iron Age, I read somewhere that even older Bronze Age artefacts like combs have been found there, putting it even further back in time to over 3,000 years. As for it being a Norman motte, don’t make us laugh….the Normans NEVER built small castles on the top of mountains.
