I think I got to try this E85 mix out. Just got my full Jun Bl EVC Catback and mid pipes installed... Sounds amazing inside... Haven't gotten to hear it from outside the car yet (wife won't drive my car lol).. it has just enough popcorn on deceleration for me. Im very happy with it

You would want to be in map5 at minimum, but the high pressure fuel pump may struggle a bit to keep up with that

Any issues with daily driving in map 4? I’m in love with the e30 and map 4. I’m using 5 gallons of e85 and the rest 93 from an empty tank. Think this is good?

I would test your e85 and check it, that a little more ethanol than I would prob run, but if it’s running good and logs look good then run it up. I would group your logs and send them to Terry at BMS if your not sure, in the meantime on your next fill up just put 3 gallons in and see if you notice an improvement or decline - Dragy is also good for measuring performance

@@christucker9566 makes sense to me as well. A lower than e85 quality should mean you are using more. Terry recommends approx 5 gallons for that same reason. That’s what I’m using currently. I’m not expert at reading the logs but I haven’t noticed any issues as of yet.

Man I wish I lived closer for the meet up. I'm pumped u might make go get some E85 tomorrow. I ride map 3 on 91/e30. I don't have 93 octane so I stay in Map 3. Do u run EWG wires? Have u adjusted your JB4 settings on your Map 3 or 4?

91 octane with 4 gallons would be fine for map 4, but I wouldn’t push it past that. I do have the EWG connectors, but I’m trying to find time to install and mess with setting for map 6. Installing them and using preset maps tends to cause issues for some people, they are really for fine tuning in map 6 for best results.

No but I installed a windbooster pedal tuner which is the same thing. I’ve heard some sketch things about this one to keep it real, but so far it’s working as advertised. Sport + is super aggressive though, sport level 5 seems to be a good daily option

I don’t have one yet, but after I make a video for them I might get one. I usually run weather tech mats in all my cars, but when I seen these it was no comparison. They also make a rear hatch mat as well which would probably help mitigate some exhaust drone.

What is E85 ? In my country we only have 95 Octan and 98 Octan Benzine.

E85 is flex fuel e stands for ethanol it’s derived from corn , basically alcohol. It burns cooler and is easier on the cats and 02 sensors and also provides a higher octane level when you mix it with other pump gas. But if you have 98 octane you are very close to a 93/e85 e30 mix, if that’s all you have you can still run map 3-4, but I would watch your logs and get a FMIC because it’s going to be creating a lot of heat

Timing numbers should be slowly going up with engine RPMs. The only times the numbers should drop is during shifts. If it drops while accelerating then you're likely running too much boost for your fuels octane.

Awesome! Nope it’s very easy to use, they do all the tuning work for you. You can just select the map you want with the corresponding fuel. The JB4 also has some advanced user settings as well and you can purchase additional add ons like EWG connectors to really fine tune it in map 6, or add WMI (water meth injection). Lots of flexibility from beginner to advanced. Tuxmat I’m conflicted about. I have a pair of their mats and the issue I have is strictly just the driver size mat. After awhile the Velcro just comes off that secures it out. Apparently they updated the mats I reached out and you don’t have to use the Velcro anymore. I’m annoyed cause I reached out to them to replace just the driver side with the updated maps and they refused too. I didn’t even have the mats for the year when I reached out. So their warranty I feel like is false advertising.

@@twn2rbo I think you will be fine at least you should be. So I got my stinger Jan of last year and ordered the mats at the same time. I want to say about 4-6 months in the Velcro you have to put on the left to help the mat stay in place eventually stops working. But I will be on the lockout for your video and make sure to comment.

@@twn2rbo oh ok mine is gt2 it has remote start but from very close and when you open the door it kills itself so you have to start it again I thought they all had it

@@KingAvarice so I did an install over the weekend and this one is pretty sick bc once you remote start it, the doors stay locked until you walk up to it, once you open the door the engine remains running and once you put your foot on the break the car doesn’t die. I notice that all the dash lights and infotainment screen is dark when you get in, but putting your foot on the break turns everything on and allows you do put it in to drive. Range is pretty good, so far it will start in the garage from inside the house at a pretty good distance. Overall def a recommend

I wouldn’t go over 4 gallons of e85 without the flex it kit. E30 is the goal, but I would grab a test kit, bc the e85 around here is really e75. I’ve run e30 more than anything and never had an issue, but one time I ran 4 gallons in the summer and i was having a little precognition I assume because the performance declined a tad. Personally, I love 2 gallons of e85 with the rest 93 in map 3. But I will do an occasional 3.5 - 4 gallons and run map 4 with amazing results.

Well going back to my KZbin hunt for the best exhaust , I had it down to MBRP and Ark. Borla is the loudest and I’ve heard it in person (40 roll) but I’m not a fan of the raspy tone a V6 makes tbh. Of course I think MBRP sounds best for daily, but I also think the magnaflow sounds great with downs added.
