Beaver make only Workers as meatshield. at the beginning don't make food tile go straight to workers make atleast 10 workers and 5 range.After hatching those ants you must head straight to the Entrance of your Ally Ant and kill those 3 wolfspider before all your ally ant workers get themselves killed.You need to be quick at the beginning.

Actually, what I like to do is start of with 2 melee and 2 ranged attackers and I always make sure that there is 1 melee more than the ranged attackers because the difference between a melee and a worker is that Melee's instantly grabs the attention of the enemy so if an enemies is about it attack your ranged attacker then the melee will take that dmg for it

Beaver, the wood ant meles are different to other meles. They have weak attack strength but more health. Added with the other wood ants (the squirtey ones) they make a powerful combo.

The wood ant melee is a defence troop compared to the fusca solider, the wood ant melee is their for a distraction and protection for ranged units which are the real damagers.

Beaver, you HAVE to get a small force and kill the wolf spiders before the allies are wiped out, and then they will come and kill the beetle with you. That’s the only way to “progress” their colony, otherwise they just attack the wolf spider until they’re all gone. Play the level on easy first to get the hang, this level is incredible imo

Some advice for this level. Spitters are damage dealers. The melee are tanks, except they're kinda bad at their job. Generally the best way to do it is just workers and spitters, so yeah, definitely go for the, and I quote, "Shooty bum bum guys."

Love ur videos beaver.. this level can be annoying 😁 had so many issues in beta. I found the best way to start was to gather the food to the left. Dig down from there to the woodlice and collect the food outside as quick as u can. Then build 4 melee and 4-5 mortar. Should just get these before the other colony tries moving out. Then u have to go over and help kill the spiders first. Then run back. Clear the top right and keep building troops at same time so u can take on the beetles when they come. The other colony should have troops to send to help by then. After that u just clear ur nest and babysit the other colony as they keep trying to suicide the ants at various places through out 😁 hope this helps

build your warrior ants next to the entrance on either side to defend the colony. make two groups of the warriors. one to defend and one to attack the food sources inside the nest. send your workers out to collect the easy food first, then attack the two enemy guarded food source. Then send one of the warrior groups out to take on the 4 enemy guarded food source while the rest of the warriors guard the entrance outside. and the workers guard the inside entrance. After that build more workers and warriors and go out to help the friendly colony and take out the spiders.

For an actual strategy for this level, you need to focus first on having small majority shield units,(I say shield units cause wood melee ants are tanks not dps) and have some shooters in the beginning to deal venom damage. So for every 1 shooter have three melee early game, and once you have a decent amount of shields, let's say 15 to 20, try to slowly switch from majority shield ants to majority shooter ants. This way, the shield ants should have enough forces to hold the line, and you should have a growing firing squad to drain the enemies health quickly. As for the tiger beetles that charge in, even if you don't have too many shooters, 7 to 10 shield ants might be able to hold them back long enough for your ranged to kill one and thus slow the charge. Hope this helps beaver!

It's possible dude I was able to beat it last night you just need a good strategy My strategy: 1: take food from your Allie colony every once a while 2: make sure before you have 40 ruff soldiers make sure that they are lvl 3 (20 melee and 25 mortar) 3: kill the dang crab you get like 3000 food really helps (it took 39 soldiers lvl3 to kill it it may be with some resistance) 4: just keep getting more and more soldiers and digging out and checking on your Allie I would recommend having 70 soldiers lvl 3 (most) 5: it's now an easy game (Also slug disco called me a legend for beating it but mostly it was luck I said so If I do it you can do it too) So anyone wanna follow this strategy which probably isn't that helpful but I tried
