Thank you for an amazing and fun video! You guys rocked it by actually exploring the canyon!

Thankyou Becky! 🥰 We hope to do more exploration of canyon in the future. It doesn’t matter how many times we visit the Grand Canyon it doesn’t look real and looks like someone painted it.

That was such a hilarious and clever comment Dylan made about married couples visiting the canyon. Ha ha....slips and falls must happen all of the time. No way I would even get as close to the edge as you guys did. lol... What an extensive pledge you have to make to become a Jr Ranger. lol... I'm pretty sure I didn't make that many promises when I got married lol... They do take things seriously there and they really, really, really don't want you to feed the squirrels. That was very funny. And I agree with you. The Grand Canyon has to be experienced in person to be appreciated. 5000 sq/km. It is truly one of the greatest natural wonders. Thanks for another fun and entertaining video guys. ♥

We're so glad you enjoyed the video! Your comment gave us a good laugh. They definitely make it clear not to feed the squirrels. You are right the Grand Canyon is truly breathtaking in person. Thanks for watching!

We have our current trip jam packed, and not to give anything away we are heading south then east 😜 If there’s anywhere you would love to see or have any recommendations, we are all ears and will try to make accomodations for it on this trip! If we don’t, we write it down and we try and make it fit into the next adventure 😀

A squirrel is making the warning noise, probably because you are near. I have to admit watching you walking along the ledge made me nervous, one slip would ruin your day. I have been to The Grand Canyon during the winter when the ledges were covered with snow, it was beautiful, but you would never catch me walking along the rim. Also, very cold and windy as well. You two should get yourself a National Park Passport Book as well, that way you can start to fill it up with stamps. If you fill it up completely you get...absolutely nothing, except the satisfaction of filling it up. Great video!
@TheRoadBechAndCalls2 ай бұрын
Wait that was a squirrel that made that high pitched bird noise 😳 Have you seen Dylan and Trae’s Grand Canyon adventure? We thought about getting the passport as we only recently discovered it, but instead we have decided to continue focus one the junior ranger badges and will hopefully make a map and display them soon enough, that’s the plan 😅

Take heart standing on the edge that they do evaluations of what ground is likely to give way. But none of these are fool-proof & whatever area they fence off could have a lot more ground give way. I would just stay away from fenced off areas completely. I used to (rarely) drive through an elk herd on the road to my house. 10:57 Life as a Bristlecone pine isn't easy. Sooo . . . The canyon, elk, & becoming a Junior Ranger was pretty grand. The rain, Wendy's, & the edge not so much?

That's good to know, we will keep 'stay away from fenced off areas' in mind for next time we visit. Driving through a herd of elk would be an incredible sight. The Wendy's made up for the terrible weather. The edge wasn't so bad this time around. Thanks for checking out another video of ours. Hope you have a great week!

Hey Dillion? what happened to your right forearm?
@TheRoadBechAndCalls2 ай бұрын
My scars are the results of a motorcycle accident and many surgeries in 2015 where I had a complete brake of the brachial artery. This accident changed my perspective on life completely that’s one of the major reasons why we travel and try and enjoy each day as we never know what tomorrow holds.

Now you can read the book "Death in the Grand Canyon".
@TheRoadBechAndCalls2 ай бұрын
Thank you we will check that out! Unfortunately there has been a fair few deaths this year 😢 we can understand how people can become a statistic very easily while visiting the Grand Canyon. It’s easy to become isolated very quickly and if you don’t have a good sense of direction becoming lost then without adequate water it’s a very desolate place. We have pushed the boundaries of getting too close to the edge ourselves, there becomes a certain point where the risk is worth it for a closer look but we don’t go pushing it, that’s just asking for trouble.
@alanfoster65892 ай бұрын
@@TheRoadBechAndCalls I once hiked from Phantom Ranch to Crystal Creek. Level hike, but in July. Not smart, won't repeat that. I live two hours drive from the canyon. You know you've pushed too far when you can't post here anymore because...you've pushed too far. Your choice.

We are glad to hear the story prevails, thankfully your hear to tell it. As your well aware it doesn’t take much for a hike to turn fatal.
