I’m a bit confused: This sermon said “Having troubles is not a problem. The problem is not having troubles, for troubles bring up what you are idolising, so that you can set ur eyes back on the eternal God.” (Which I assume a state of no longer feeling troubled) But wouldn’t this make “not feeling troubled” a goal? (As it means we’ve refocused on eternity) However, we’re very good at deceiving ourselves. The sermon depicting a positive light to “let go the perception of trouble” may in fact go against it’s intent.
