This game is bad, but it doesn't reach the same level of shittiness as Homecoming. Downpour gets a "you tried" sticker for its story and its otherworld, while Homecoming just nonsensically recycled shit and created nothing new. I think of Downpour like that kid you knew in school that really struggled with the class readings and his paper on it was total shit, but it was really his personal best and he put a lot of effort into it. Homecoming is like that other kid you knew who didn't read the book, half-heartedly paid attention to the movie version of the book, shit out a paper in 20 minutes at lunch before the class, even sometimes calling the characters by the actors names, and still thought it was good work. Downpour, you tried. I feel for you. I'm gonna give you a 60% so you don't have to repeat the 5th grade, but you need to read over the summer or you'll be back here after Quarter 1.

The secret to button mashing like a king is to not hold the controller with the hand that's doing the mashing, clench all fingers except one to mash the button, and basically mimic a seizure with your hand. I can get about 500 clicks a second with that strategy.

Last night I legit had a dream where someone was accusing me of not knowing about potatoes and I responded "Of course I know about potatoes! WhiteN0iz in one of the endings it turns out he never murdered ANYONE, because Sewell killed Napier instead. Which leaves me wondering - why the fuck was Murphy having all these tortures in this excuse of a game? Why did he even have to go to SH? Why did he experience anything if he's innocent? In Central SH, where SH1 takes place, there's Alchemilla and Cedar Grove Sanitarium. In South Silent Hill, where SH2 is mostly located, there's Brookhaven and the Ridgeview Medical Clinic. There wasn't one in Downpour, which was the only other one that took place mostly in Silent Hill. Homecoming had a hospital, but it was supposedly in or near Shepherd's Glen.
