In this video, we see two Big Bale Transtackers chasing bales in a freshly baled wheat field. It is quite uncommon to see two bale chasers working together, let alone being filmed from the air.
The field they are chasing in is a partly baled wheat field in East Yorkshire. The field is 60 hectares in size so is perfect for filming an operation like this.
The Big Bale Transtacker being worked by the Fendt is operated by Warter Priory Estate. We bale and chase approximately 12,000 bales a season. The New Holland is being operated by Alex from Big Bale Transtacker. He came to our farm specially for this video - we wanted to see what it would look like to have two chasers running at once.
Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes.
