Thankyou! Brilliant inspiration. I take so many materials when I go away, walk, etc get so intimidated by choice and never do anything, so love the black, ink, graphite. First time l've actually been inspired and then actually DONE something! Your 'struggles' also help a lot. Seriously.

Ha, I used to be the same, but after trying to take everything and the kitchen sink, I thought that there must be a better way! Hence I’ve become a bit more disciplined, deciding on the focus beforehand - much lighter to carry 😊

Wonderful sketchbooks! I feel the same way (I think) about acrylic paint. Watercolor is my friend. Love all of these, fun to see how you’ve used collage too.

@ haha glowering is right! I’m always torn between ‘might be useful later’ and ‘rip off the plaster, bin the thing’ with those.
