oh my gosh, I wish I found your video 10 months ago!! it wouldve saved me all the trial and error (and bickering) I had to do with my brother to figure out exactly how to do the two block. he's very picky. despite figuring out how to do it already, your video is still very informative for fine tuning. thank you! 🥺❤️

I'll attempt to recreate this look on my teenage sons tomorrow. Your teaching inspire me to have confidence that I can do this at home although I'm not a professional. I did a few shortcuts and surfers style on them before but now they both prefer longer hairstyle and I need to keep up following whatever the new trend might be :)

When initially clipping the sides I always thought of the comb as pulling hair down into the clipper but the comment about using the comb as a guide to prevent rounding up over the top is a nice hint that made this click for me- good tip to help clipper go straight up!

I am glad it helps, if you pull the comb into the clipper it can sometimes leave you with a chuncky line of weight to get rid of.

Nice work! Lots of attention to the hair, which may not lay the same on each side. Typically I cut a perimeter and then do the overdirecting so that I don't have to go back and do it twice. But the important thing is to keep the hair balanced, which you have done. I appreciate that the hair has been left long enough to be interesting and of course to please the client. You are one of the few who has mentioned the importance of getting to know your client's hair and how it behaves. My friend's hair will appear up to two inches shorter when dry, so it's important not to go too short. Thanks for sharing with us!
