Longview has a WINNING mentality. I think that's also included in a championship. So,if the Lobos"don't",well,all the other teams that lost in the playoffs like Southlake Carroll,Katy,Austin Westlake,The Woodlands, and Denton Guyer don't have championship mentality either.That's just utterly plain ridiculous to even think about .It must be a hell of lot Texas high school teams that lost in the playoffs that doesn't have that mentality,especially the one's I mention above.😒😒

@@bar-bee-cue-chicken3549 School size does matter….. but the line between 5A D1 and 6A D2 isn’t all that large most years. This year might be an exception actually, but still you could find both these teams probably in a regional final. Especially if they we’re both in Region 2 with Desoto, then they could legitimately compete in Region 2 as Longview did it in 2018 just fine.
