Two BNSF Coal Trains "Race"

An eastbound BNSF coal train comes by Agency, Iowa on Main 1 while cresting the grade here on May 10, 2018. Main 1 is usually used by westbound trains. Unlike other times when a left-hand running freight train means the other track is closed, it soon becomes apparent Main 2 is still open when another coal train appears. Both trains are destined for the Ameren power company as evidenced by the hopper cars having the UCEX reporting mark.
The distributed power unit on the first train is partially glimpsed between cars at 5:16. This locomotive is a former Burlington Northern Executive MAC.
