Two Brand New Kicker Solo X's tear up this big Company Work Van!!!

My boss decided to try and put two of the new solo X's in the kicker quad box, and see how it performs!!! She definitely gets down and hits some pretty low notes!!

A lot of people talked shit over the years about kicker . They are one of the ones that started the high power sub game with the original solo x .im glad to see they jumped back in it. I will say they took too damn long to get them out. After a year of having my box empty waiting i put some evil 15's in it. Im super happy but really wanted those. I will in the next build but im hoping to see someone in the mean time do a big build with them😁🤙🤙

A local guy had a kicker kxa2400.1 up for sale for $300 and I didn't see it and he said nobody was biting so he ended up take $225 for it. I seen the post 15 mns after it sold and was pissed. I found a kxa 1600.1 2 weeks later in perfect sale for $175 and I like the Bluetooth bass knob alot.

I love kicker actually I run 2 kicker 15 L7 but for the price I jus cnt do it again..I'd rather buy 2 skar 15 vxf and hit jus as hard..1500 watts rms a sub..

Quad box on the kxa2400.1, I have hit 150.8db at 47hz.. same quad with a sfb8000 hit 154db at 47z.. In a 96 2 door tahoe.. today's testing with same amp in that van 145.2 at 36 to 38 hz depending where the box moved around to. Clamping around 1400 watts at like 3 ish ohm. Higher notes in the 44hz range the amp was doing 2700w on the term lab. Stock transit alt, stock agm battery and the new Jy-power nxt cap. I need to hook up a amp that will get me 4000 to 6000 watts at peak db then let it rip.

Not usually. It gets taken in and out of the van constantly, because this is the company van and it is used to go pick up orders for the store etc, so it will go a week or two at a time without even being in there, and then it will get thrown in there every once and awhile

Big 3 in a transit won't do anything.. battery is under the seat.. be a waste of cable.. jy nxt is handling this amp just fine.. if you haven't played with led in a vehicle they are extremely sensitive to voltage drop.

How much power are you running to those 2-12 inch Solo Xs? That cu. ft. would be perfect, for 3-12 inch Solo Xs. Also if these are Dual 1 coils, you could run each sub serised= 2 ohm each, then parr. all 3=.67 Ohms = perfect for a 1 Ohm amp!

The kicker quad box is 31hz tuning frequency, it's only clamping around 1300 watts so it's way underpowered.

@@CodyLowevlogs Watch the dyno test of that amp. At 1ohm 14.4v which it is rated at 3,000 watts the amp pushed over 4000 watts. When played at dynamic at 1ohm simulating music the amp pushed over 5k watts. That amp is well under specified. It might even blow these subs as it is a very very powerful amp. Even at its 2ohm load at 14.4 volts rated at 1500 watts it almost hit 2,500 watts at its 2 ohm load. That alone pushes more then that kicker amp

Ill stick with sundown xv3's for the same price and produce more air than these. $700 for the solo x or the Sundown XV3 and im taking XV3's everytime. They will hit lower and louder while handling more power rms. Not bad for beginner brand kicker but for 700 sundown will kill them on the spl side.
