At the dnc convention, they had a bit with Kamala’s nieces in how to say her name. Her nieces said it’s Kama as in comma, and then la. So, according to that it’s Kamala as in Pamela. So the other video might have been sanctioned, but that may just indicate she isn’t bothered how people say it if the intention behind it is genuine. Or maybe there’s more than one way. But Kamala as in Pamela seems to be what her nieces call her. Barack Obama pronounced it that way too.

Not sure if I’m allowed to post links but there’s a Guardian Australia video on how to pronounce VP Harris’ name. Slightly bricking it until November, if Trump gets back in I feel like we’re looking at an extinction level event. Not particularly thrilled with Harris but she doesn’t come across as a wannabe tyrant.
