I was trying the idea of let them go and hope they are bigger next year. Which has never worked where I hunt. I have been hunting here over 20 years and only 2 times have a seen the same buck 2 years in a row and that’s because someone down the road from me feeds them in their back yard. Also I didn’t have permission on the stubble side of the fence. Gotta respect the landowners.

MrThewoodlover mostly private land here but where the first buck came from is lease land. I treat it like private though. Always ask permission first.

touvangfue lee still a little too young. Hopefully they grow lots this year and I can find them again. We get almost all our meat from elk hunting so there is no rush to shoot deer.
