It’s really unfortunate, in my opinion, that the family who adopted Daisy didn’t adopt her brother as well, especially since they adopted another kitten at the same time. Those two kittens were bonded and Daisy would have probably adjusted to the new home much easier if her litter mate were with her. So sad!!

I agree with you 1000%. I would have adopted both of them together. Sick that they got another one but not the sibling! I sure hope they are now having happy healthy long beautiful lives now!!!!❤❤

Once my daughter found three kittens (about three weeks old) in a sealed box on a blazing hot summer day. Then they turned out to have parvovirus. Miraculously two of them survived and they still live with us.

Coda was in horrific condition. Besides all the skin issues she looked emaciated. She had been sick and suffering for a long time. If her owner cared about her, she would have Never have let her get that sick. She's discusting. A puppy still. Now she's dead. Rip Angel xxx 🌈😰

I found a kitten abandoned at the bottom of a stairwell once -- not feral, so evidently it had once had a home, but no sign of the mother cat either. I took the kitten back to the cat rescue where I volunteered, because there was no way it could live comfortably in that stairwell.

I have three pet chickens. The way those ones were kept is horrible! Chickens are smart, curious creatures. They can recognise faces and familiar surroundings, they play with toys and love investigating new things. These babies deserve better Edit: incase anyone doesn’t know; not only is the way they were kept bad because of what Kevin said but because if birds are kept without any stimulation (toys, new environments, time to run around and investigate things) they become distressed, can stop laying eggs from feeling unsafe and can even start pulling out their own feathers.

I don't think the owner gave a 💩 about their welfare. No way they were pets..they were a food source..who would keep an animal that was tethered and couldn't move more than 12 inches..utterly cruel..

Poor sweet little Koda, such a short yet miserable life. Unfortunately I don't really believe that the owner gave more than one dose of medication for her to have such a severe infection on top of that horrendous mange. A first time pet owner would have been constantly at the vet trying to sort out such a sad case of a puppy that's not eating or playing and there's no improvement with her skin. For koda to crash during her first night at the vet shows just how severe her case was and I think that the owner was well aware of that. Its not difficult for someone to put on a weepy show to authorities. Run free over the rainbow 🌈 bridge sweet girl you can now run and play for ever. ❤

They literally adopted 2 cats. No siblings who have went through trauma together should be separated at all. I dont care what humans think. Them cats were bonded together and got brought back together just to be torn apart again. If I worked at a shelter and had management over it, there would be certain animals who would stay together no matter what. They will find someone to take both. Thats the rules. If you want a single animal then you get one thats single. You can adopt more than one single animal. But If you want a pair or more they have a separate area and are already paired/bonded. That would be my rules. Plus it would encourage people to adopt more animals and understand how important it is to adopt more than one and keep them bonded.

The video didn’t specify whether or not the male black kitten was already adopted before the family adopted Daisy. If he wasn’t it would have been really wonderful if they would’ve adopted him as well since they were litter mates and were already bonded.

"Cats rarely get adopted as a pair," the narrator says. I am not sure that is necessarily true? Obviously, I don't have any statistics, but in general it is recommended that kittens are adopted with a littermate. Bonded pairs, whether littermates or friends, are frequently adopted together.

Utterly ridiculous. Koda did NOT need to be euthanized!!! Viktor larkhill would have given her more chances than that. Anyone with have a brain cell knows that mange doesn't go away in a single night , that was just an excuse for the public because they didn't want to waste money on her for expensive veterinary . 🙄 So to say that she wasn't responding to the treatment in ONE DAY is absolute ludicrous! It TAKES TIME FOR MANGE TO RESPOND TO TREATMENT! They gave up on her far too soon. Too bad Viktor larkhill hadn't rescued her she would still be alive and continuing and getting better. Viktor larkhill has rescued dogs in these conditions and gotten them all the care they needed and they get better. These SPCA's just made excuses to not waste money on her, sad. RIP little girl, you didn't deserve what humans did to you. 😢

Humans failed that poor dog all the way around. First, neglectful and uncaring owners who let her get into that condition, and then by the so-called rescue agency that didn't want to spend the time and effort on a dog they didn't think was worth it. Lousy excuse they came up with, too. Anyone who's watched a couple of thousand KZbin videos have seen a plethora of dogs in far worse condition be brought back to normal within a few months. The ironic thing is, the worst dogs are in third world nations, and they brought them back to health with very few additional problems, and for not very much money, so watching this, with their resources, to then claim she "took a bad turn" and they "had no choice" but to put her down is downright nauseating.

We have had dogs all of our lives and recently became disabled,me and my husband. We cant afford the vet bills any more but we do everything we can for our baby girl. She started getting a skin rash that was scabby and i thought mange , i so sad because we couldn't get her to the et but i did a lot of research and ended up shampooing her with head and shoulders and it took it away. Fortunately we got her to the vet and they said she has really bad allergies and we were doing a good job with her. We cant afford the 100 a month for her meds so we give her honey and coconut oil and it seems to keep it at bay, the times of season it gets bd we have to give her plain yogurt because her allergies cause yeast in her ears and we clean them a lot as well, it helps as well. So i understand people not having money for vets but love their pets to the moon and back however there are ways to get around expensive treatments. Except for things like broken bones or something seriously worse.

21:30 I do not like that woman at all. She only cares what they look like. You adopt 2 cats at the same time which included taking the one from her sibling, instead of adopting them together or adopting all 3! and then get home and Automatically have a favorite smfh.
