I was skeptical at first about how good Rivals would feel and play. But after a week of that, trying to return to OW is nearly impossible. Everything just feels so much worse to play as or against, it feels like you have to pull teeth and nails to get even an ounce of value. Rivals absolutely has its issues, but I personally find them to be less impactful than the ones currently present in OW. A Hulk can jump in my face and nearly pound me to death, but I usually still have options to run or fight. If he was in OW, he'd have 400 normal health, 400 shields, and be able to jump in, stomp on you, and clap you to death in one second

I’m still having fun in Rivals, but the cracks are starting to shine through. The majority of tanks and supports are just boring to play imo, and I think GOATS will ultimately return due to how strong healing is and how survivable tanks can be with their bloated kits (and I say this as a magneto main). Spilo said he felt the same in a recent video. Which is a shame because dps is probably the healthiest and most fun part of Rivals.

You'll want to try and hold chokes while LOS'ing the enemy Zen and Ana. It's the strategy I use while playing Mauga into Support counters.
