I have a FL2 diesel and it’s belt driven, and the only other option was the 3.2ltr 5 cylinder Volvo petrol engine so I’m confused here.

What are symptoms of these problems? Any strange noise? My engine makes some "clicking" sound under moderate load, mostly heard at about 2k rpms, especially when engine is cold. I think diesel injectors make this sound, but after watching your video I'm not quite sure. 170k km on mine.

to be honest I dot know but if the engine is out of warranty you should start checking

This video makes no sense, it does not tell you what the cause of the wear is. Just shows an engine rebuild, you can make a video like this about any engine.
