Two Crude Dudes Sega Genesis 2 player Netplay 60fps

Best viewed in 60 fps (only available on HTML5 player). I'm player 1 and Mark is player 2. This was played on easy because there is friendly fire on normal difficulty.

+David Steck Through an emulator, yes. Try googling Gens netplay. I actually use an emulator called HazeMD++ rather than Gens but that one is sort of obscure and I don't think you can find much about it online.

I did that by setting the difficulty to easy.

I couldn't give a technical explanation for why that appears, but it seems that is something that always happens there. I checked a video recorded on real hardware, and it looked the same as this video.

Netplay?? wow too lazy to plug two controllers and play in the same room, same television and trash talk? I can understand for racing games and to a point fighting games but 2 player side scrolling beat em ups? lame.

It has nothing to do with laziness. The second player here lives a few hours away, and it's not that often that I see him in person.

what's lame is this comment and dim mindset. i actually own Two Crude Dudes, along with over 500 other Genesis games, but I don't live anywhere close to anyone who I'd love to play with, especially while the pandemic is still a thing. Using netplay to play these classics with like-minded friends or people I share memories of the game with is a much better use of the internet than leaving comments like Apollo's. my only real gripe is that OP doesn't have any links to the emulators used!

@@r0ckbass Sorry, but while I got a notification for the most recent comment, I didn't get one for yours. The emulator used in this video was HazeMD++, but these days, I use Mednafen for Genesis netplay. Retroarch is also supposed to be a good choice.
