You do such a fabulous job! Thanks for the 395 trip! My wife is an avid swimmer and over did the salt water swim. When combined with a lack of appropriate sun screen, made for a very uncomfortable few days. So tells your views to make sure they get both plenty of sun protection and a good fresh water rinse on leaving the lake.

@@NikkiDelventhal this makes me super happy! I've been wanting to request another video with one (or many) of your family members appearing in it for a while now. But didn't want to seem demanding. I've always said I want you to do and make videos that YOU want to do and that make you happy. So any chance of a Delventhal family member appearance makes me grin. I think we can all agree that Dan Delventhal makes everyone happy though 😁

Highway US 6, departing out of Bishop deserves a mention. Built in the late 30's it is known as the Grand Army of the Republic Highway. Starts in Bishop and goes to the East Coast, Provincetown MA. 3,652 miles in all. Of course a visit to the Cerro Gordo Ghost Town is also a must.

We used to camp at Mono Village near Bridgeport. On the way home I would stop at Aberdeen where there's a small fishing creek. My daughter would hop out, catch a fish, release it and we'd be on our way in around 15 minutes. Just a fun little tradition from long ago. Highway 395 is beautiful. We water skied on Lake Topaz. When we got out of the water we were green from the algae bloom going on at the time LOL. Thanks for sharing!

I know it's just coming out of winter at the time of this video, but you completely bypassed one of the most incredible hikes into the Sierras just a few minutes south of Crowley Lake. It's called Tom's Place, at least that is the sign you will see on HWY 395 that leads you to and up Rock Creek Canyon. At the end is a parking lot that marks the trailhead for "Little Lakes Valley Trail" that takes you along 6-7 beautiful lakes in a relatively short distance. I think I measured it at about 3 miles one-way. Best time to hike it is in the Fall.

That’s one of my favorite drives. I’ve been on every mile of 395 from San Diego to Canada! Helped that I went to college at Gonzaga in Spokane which is only a block off of 395! And been skiing mammoth since I was 3! But shhhh. Don’t tell everyone. The good part is it’s not well known. They’ve taken all my camping spots over now and they are run by the forest service by reservation only. Well I’ve enjoyed it for 50 years before it got popular

Will have to try 395. Looks like a great area with lots of variety of sites to explore. We have Overlanded for years. Now we have a small camping trailer and a 4Runner. We do camp with Sammy our cat. He is not as adventurous as Camper, but seems to like camping quite a bit. It gives us options of Boondocking, camping in traditional camp sites or our favorite going to Hipcamps...Kind of like BnB's only camp sites. Love your videos, will be out in the Utah, Arizona and Colorado areas this summer. Who knows, maybe we will cross paths someday...Peace.

JEALOUS!!! The 395 is my favorite drive. My Bucket List is to drive the entire 395 from Hesperia, CA to the Canadian Border in Laurier, WA. I've mapped it out already, including places for Foodie visits.

Love this trip. Have been there a few times. Some of us are leaving end of June and heading up 395 all the way to Oregon. Then east to the Owyee canyon lands. Eventually through Idaho and Nevada and coming into the backside of Bodie.

Aw, June Lake! My dad took us there for camping trips when we were kids. And Schat’s bakery in Bishop - best Rosemary sourdough bread!

Omg i love all those places! I love going to lone pine, bishop and especially mammoth. Try going to Indian brewery. Great beer and soda selection. An hour’ish south of Lone Pine. 🤘🇺🇸🥃
