If you know or watch how he stuff is made it’s not enough high explosive material to cause explosion like that.

no more than normal, i think the media is just jumping on it more lately cause the govt is trying to place regulations on gas across the country. its like volcanoes and earthquakes. theres 46 erupting today, but only the news picks it up if it affects someone or causes chaos. earthquakes rattle cali and texas all day long everyday, but you only hear about it when someone gets scared... its not more of anything other than coverage.

Too many of these are happening all across our nation...something must be done to make sure that gas utilities are doing & maintaining their work is up to code! I'm calling BS. That house was listed, unlisted and relisted quite a few times since January of this year. Many price cuts and no bites from buyers. This explosion was very suspicious. Price was reduced just lst week 5 days ago!!!! Seller couldn't unload this in a soft market.

Gas stoves have little to do with it. Usually, the problem is with underground gas lines. Our infrastructure is poor. Instead of keeping up with restoration they wait for things like this.

I imagine they tell us that it will be a gas explosion, but the problem is anytime I've ever seen a gas explosion there's usually a line of gas that stays on fire until shut off.
