James, what’s is the purpose of this project? It looks like you’re building terraces for soil conservation and holding ponds. My wife and I are both just stumped. If the owner wanted a tank/ponds for his cattle this doesn’t make any sense. Help a fella out. You’ve been getting some oddball jobs lately. 😂

I've been called a odd ball before, I guess my jobs are a fit. Those are for watering grass (costal Bermuda) for grazing or hay. He will plant grass this spring. The berms are to keep water in that one border and it drains out the end that's open. You don't want any side fall so the water go across evenly as it is going out to the low in. It all works on gravity, no pumps or electricity is needed. If you closed the ends off, it would probably look like rice Patty's. It will make more sense when you see the drone shot later. Thanks for watching.

@@DunsmoreMovingDirt Didn’t mean that you are odd. lol The berms reminded me of terraces. We have an old farm over east of you in Grayson cty and it has many terraces on it for erosion from the 1930’s, I suppose. Your job there too reminded me of rice paddies. We don’t much of the kind of pastures like you’re working. It has to be pretty flat. You’ve had a couple recently where you had to rent skid steer with the mulcher. That one looked like it ate your lunch. lol. Anyway, we enjoy your channel and thanks for answering my question!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
