Well Amazon has struck again. I've been waiting on the new Bugani Brief Pro, which I ordered Oct. 15t, but the scheduled delivery date changed from today to Friday. The Tribit Blast 2 was supposed to be delivered today, but now shows tomorrow. Amazon got me twice in one day. Ugh!😵

The Earfun UBoom X seems to suffer some loss of clarity and sound separation when you run TWS with certain EQ's, including this Indoor +. You can tell how it is a bit lacking in clarity and separation in this video. I also did a video comparing a single UBoom X vs two in TWS, so you can hear the difference.

Yeah, this is some of those TWS issues I have been trying to figure out how bad it was. I think the studio should be better and the outdoor should also not have the stereo widening effect on that could be the source of the issues with the tuning. But I am not sure about any of this because it is 3 hand info. And as I use to say about this, I could have misunderstood this whole thing or some vital detail. I get mine soon and I will try to figure it out. But if you try them again in TWS see if they sound better in the other hopefully less effected modes. The other video you did comparing the OG blast I think it was with the Uboom X. With the custom EQ you made. When you do a custom EQ what do/did you start with? One of the earfun ones or one of the Oluv ones?

Great stuff. Almost pulled the trigger for a couple of Earfun Uboom Xs. 90% of my playlists are rock and metal. With that said, which speaker would you pick for that music?

I wouldn't run two of the UBoom X's unless they have fixed the audio issue.

Good comparison they cost about the same. Did i miss it what mode did you used on the Uboom X? Here the Uboom X sounded in comparison quite disappointing.

It seems YT have removed the feature they used to have where you could see the auto generated text under the more button you could the auto generated text script and they used to have a search function for that text that was really useful. I have no idea why they dropped it. At least I can't find it in my app anymore. I used to be able to scrub through the text looking for such info quick and easy when I needed some info. To bad it seems it is gone now. I bet it is so all these AI companies can't take YT text data so easy or something like that. I don't know, I miss it though I used it every day when it was available to search for info in videos.

In India only encore essential is available and that too cheaper than uboom x right now with some discounts. Which one would you recommend if I am a basshead? I know encore give better bass but how much of a difference there is if we compare with uboom x and stormbox blast 1?

JBL encore vs Tribit Stormbox blast 2. Both are Karaoke speaker.

Blast 2 does have wired mic jacks. Encore comes with 2 wireless mics. UBoom X has no mics or jacks.

But how long does the battery last when you play at 60% with the Encore? (Not the Essential vers). And how long does it take to full charge?

@danielh.461 I've also got 2 Encores. Love them, but pairing them in tws can often be convoluted and frustrating. Other speakers I have pair so simply. And the JBL app sometimes makes that setup even more difficult. I'm hoping that a firmware update will resolve it. In the meantime, I've resorted to just playing just one of the Encores, which is still so kick ass on its own. Just wondering your thoughts.

Stereo pairing seems a bit meh on the earfun uboomX, it changes sound a bit compared to having only one i think, i still think there are good reasons to buy 2 altho 1 is prolly the best deal imo. ye the encore is like one of the better JBL's and prolly the best sounding PB speaker they have.

Somebody had mentioned previously about something to do with issues in TWS using the Oluv Signature EQ's, so maybe there is something to that. If so, maybe a future firmware update could fix it.
