Can we take a moment to appreciate the amount of self-restraint both ladies demonstrated when the first nun they encountered said that she has a man that comes once a week, and both Jennifer and Clarissa managed to not make an inappropriate comment.

you know, over many years of watching this as a comfort show, i think their cooking is not as bad as it seems - at least jennifer's. clarissa tends to be good at old fashioned british/european food, like her terrines and that quercyan apple cake she made, but when she gets too far afield it comes out very wrong, like her southern corn griddle cakes (as a southerner myself those are insane) or her sad huevos rancheros. but i think most of what jennifer cooks looks like it would be good - lots of mediterranean flavors, probably from all the time she spent in italy and morocco.

Boy was I wrong! When I'm wrong, I own it and this was one of the hardest lessons I ever had. The bible isn't history, it's instruction, an allegory. My whole entire core beliefs sure did. God isn't vengeful and he doesn't punish people. Organized religion is wrong.
