We had a brilliant time, lovely to see you both again as was meeting Graham and Michelle 🙂 Agree not much to film and a shame The Mended Drum did not have their brilliant menu on running along side the American themed food. Loved the train footage, when i was a kid i used to train spot and go all the time collecting numbers. my dad even raced a trian once on the road running alongside the track so i could gets its number, great memories 🙂Take care, Trev Debz and Tyler

I stayed at the Broadway Site last year, did the walk a few times , nice pubs indeed… I also did the steam train to a station about 15mins walk from its village, I didn’t realise until occurrence, could have been my last day… walking back to its station ( on the walkway) casual amble, a white van man in his transit shot past, his large door mirror brushed my sleeve! So if I had been any closer to the road I’d have got knocked flying 😮 (think it was Winchcombe) great train journey, got talking to an American couple who were bound for Winchcombe but got straight back on the train back to Broadway when there were no taxis sat waiting LOL walking is a huge no no , their faces … but a lovely couple 😊

@@RickandHeather yes, couldn’t understand, they were all for Winchcombe this that but…. Then…sad faces at the thought of a 10 minute walk 🤣 “No taxi’s” 😳, they sat on the next table I was amused at the female/male chatter… she asked him about the buffet car… 20 strong hint questions that even I “got it” she wanted hubby to fetch her a coffee. But the penny or dime wasn’t dropping on his side of the table, she put so much subtly into her hints without ordering him that I nearly said I would fetch her a coffee. 🤣

Really enjoyed the train ride. Beautiful scenery. I used to live in Cheltenham but could never afford to go back now. Thanks for pointing out Broadway CAMC, might splash out next year and revisit Broadway as it’s been a few years. Poppy seemed to be enjoying it 😂😂

It’s a beautiful area for sure, don’t forget there’s also Cheltenham Racecourse CAMC site which is cheaper than Broadway.

That food looked ok but I wish they'd come up with a better alternative to plastic forks than wood - nothing worse than trying to eat with those horrid cheap wooden implements. £4 for a dog ?! You should've told them she identifies as a cat......

Same with paper straws…. Don’t start me! Yeah it’s a bit steep paying for Poppy but I don’t mind really, the railway needs the funds and it’s my favourite line
