I’ve never tried anything from Cremo, but the simple packaging has always been appealing to me. If I had heard even one person talk about it, I might have tried it. The look of it reminds me of C.O. Bigelow.

Just recently found your channel(coincidentally by ACCIDENT) just browsing my KZbin MAIN page and HAD to subscribe due to it not being TOO many FEMALE reviewers and my wife collects AS WELL just like ME…nonetheless..I’m a man BUT just wanted to chime in MY personal input on these two..the body wash to that Bourbon Vanilla is THE BEST!!!…tried EVERY single one of the Cremos over a period of about 4 or 5 years now since I started collecting and ALWAYS go back to the same ones which I buy over and over and am currently on my 4th bottle of Spice and Black Vanilla right now in my collection AND my 2nd or 3rd bottle of there Iced Citron and Driftwood…we have two kids ages 3 and 2 and currently only ONE income so money’s pretty tight and always loved this brand due to them not being bad for 20 bucks and cheaper alternatives to the ones that I don’t feel like dropping $100 bucks a bottle on..the Spice and Black Vanilla I LOVE using for the wintertime when it gets that REALLY chilly ice cold breeze in the air as it’s a muchhh cheaper alternative to Victor & Rolfs Spicebomb Extreme(which I think NOW is discontinued if I’m not mistaken)..but it’s GREAT and ive had 2 samples of Spicebomb extreme before and it’s REALLY REALLY close..that vanilla in the Cremo is superb and pretty decent quality considering it’s price bracket and expectations for the price u pay..the iced citron and driftwood is a Dior Homme Cologne(For men)cheaper alternative and is pretty accurate as well..ESPECIALLY on the dry down..those Cremos are a lifesaver for someone like ME on a budget but still trying to get that “luxurious and high class”type of scent profile as it’s predecessors do.liking your channel thus far and nice reviews.keep up the good work ma’am

Thanks so much for subbing and for leaving me a comment! I agree that the Spice and Black Vanilla Cremo is really close to spicebomb! It's nice to have these alternatives and still smell amazing. I haven't tried the Driftwood one yet, but I will certainly pick it up once I find it. You've got me wanting to try the body wash too!! 🤣

My favorite cypress is cypress and oak by scents if wood, I loved it so much but could not afford it. I bought the cremo cypress and it is awesome, I love it as my night time scent I spray my bed and myself, love love it

It's funny you bring up not putting fragrances anywhere near heat, apparently the same thing goes for putting them in sunlight too. It's amazing how much people don't realize either of those facts. I actually keep all of mine in a dresser. Void of any light or heat

Absolutely! In this room I do my videos in, when I am through with the video, it goes completely black in here. I do think light will certainly degrade a fragrance super quick.

A "turn off scents" video could be fun. My turn off scent? Anything pine. Don't get me wrong, I love pine trees and pine forests, but pine scented fragrances just remind me of helping my mom clean houses and apartments out with Pine Sol as a child. I can't stand it. Eau du Toilet Camode, all a hard *NO* for me. The Juicies are pretty nice, I pick them up for my daughter. She's only 17, so they're just starting on a scent journey. They have begun to ask for more "adult" scents though. One of her surprise new faves? The Giorgio Beverly Hills body spray I picked up at Walgreens for $10! Maybe headier 80's scents are coming back around ready to chase off all these candy scents. Guess we'll see. I think Stranger Things has given her and her friends a stronger 80's nostalgia than I have! It's like how the 50's came back around back then... My eldest is 19 and he says his only goal is, "Just to not smell bad." I bought him colognes and he's not even a little bit interested which is kind of a surprise because his dad and I both love fragrances. Our youngest is 13 and he loves scents too. I make him "baby" colognes from his dad's. I basically take a 100ml atomizer bottle, put 1/3 fragrance in and then thin it with 99% alcohol and he's good to go.

I’m not a fan of the pine or pine needle note either! Teenagers are fun. I love seeing them get into fragrances and hygiene altogether. I think it shows self-respect and how they want to take care of themselves! It’s pretty cool. I agree that those ‘headier’ 80s scents seem to be creeping back in. L’interdit smells close to White Diamonds to me. I am a child of the 70s and 80s, so it’s alright with me! 😃

@@thecuriousperfumer It has been fun! My youngest loves getting cleaned up. Whenever I make him a new scent mix he's so happy. I've been conspiring with my eldest's girlfriend to pick out some scents for him. Together we picked out Azzaro Chrome Legend and CK Free. It's not that he smells BAD, he just smells like soap. We're both working on him. 😂 My daughter is big into distinct makeup and fragrances too. Her friends have all learned that they can come to me for help picking out scents. I've taught them how the best scents have a good slightly stinky base. I whipped out my bottle of Charlie Blue and they HATED it, but then I spritzed some of Paris Hilton's Heiress over it and they learned how quickly the stinkier base just made these lighter sweet scents absolutely burst forth. I've also taught them the importance of wearing different scents regularly so as to not go nose blind. I was interested in L'interdit. I own most of the White Diamonds line and I absolutely LOVE them. Anytime someone poo poos on Elizabeth Taylor fragrances for being "old" or "too cheap" don't know what they're talking about. Diamonds and Rubies is one of my all time favorite rose scents, it is stunning! I'm a "X-ennial" baby myself, so I welcome back the deeper more glamorous fragrances. 🤩💖
