Also, I'd be interested in knowing more about your Scheerhorn. I have #319 L Body from March 2001. Waited only 2 years. Sold it in 2004 and just finally got it back last year. Almost the same guitar as the video. I love the black powder coat on the cover plate. I also have #084 R body from Sept. 1994 and #157 Weissenborn from October 1996. Thanks

About the Scheerhorn - this one I bought just 2 years ago from the guy in Germany. It is no. 376 from 2008. I also have another one from 2001 it's spruce top and indian rosewood, which once belonged to Jerry Douglas. I also used to have an R body from 1994, can't remember the number, which I sold and regret since then, but I can't get it back from recent owner. All the best, Henrich.

Henrik: So well done. I've been trying to figure this song out for years. I never realized he was using string bends to get that lick. Please let me know if this is standard tuning for the Scheerhorn. Sounds just a little different, almost a minor tuning. Thanks so much for laying this out. It's note for note perfect.

Hi Lynn, thanks for your question. Yes, you are right, the tuning is different than standart G tuning. You might call it G9, maybe. The high B string is tuned down to A. So the strings are from the 6 to 1 GBDGAD which makes the bends a bit easier :)

My apologies for the late response. No, in A Peaceful Return nothing unusual. It’s in standard G tuning.
