I noticed that too. I went back and replayed that bit because I thought the sticker said 3pc $4.99 and it did. Then Dani said I would have picked them up for $1.99 each and they were only $1.60 each!!! Oops!

Ms.Niche when you pan into a new bin of stuff and there is a lovely bright yellow vintage pyrex mixing bowl at least take the time to turn her over so we can see how much california is pricing their vintage pyrex.

I think the stuffed turtle with the Velcro pocket on his back was a pajama holder. I can’t think of the name for those but my girls had those when they were young. Stuffed animals that you sleep with, then in the morning you put your jammies in the pocket.

Danni, you're shopping my neighborhood here in La Mesa. Been living here for 17 yrs now and I can honestly say that it was the cluster of nice antique shops in the village part of town there on La Mesa Blvd. that was a prime attraction for me. Yes, the prices here at Goodwill like everything else here in San Diego are higher than elsewhere, but as you said, they know their market. We pay for that boutique look like everything else. They call it the "sunshine tax." But I loved your choices at the stores. I kinda wish I had gotten to that burl wood bowl before you! 😆 BTW, I'm not sure from your videos, but I think Jordan lives in Chula Vista...right? Funny, because that's where we used to live right in the center of town. I loved it there. I like small cities here that have a quaint, old-fashioned, small-town vibe. Now that I've seen you here, I'm gonna have to follow your trail of stores to pick up some treasures for myself. I'm not a reseller, I just love vintage items 😍 to relive the memories. That, and "they just don't make things like they used to" as my father always said! Stay strong, Danni, and glad you got the new tires.

The birds are Swallows of San Juan Capistrano...they migrate there every year to lay their eggs. I love that bathroom shelf. We had that in our bathroom growing-up as a kid, 1970's. I love that vintage holly. My grandparent's had that as there holiday decorations, along with large, red bells and a cardboard fireplace!!! I always loved that look! lol. Old-fashioned charm of sorts. ❤

I’m still laughing………think I watched more of your shows today than I realized. My ex mother in law made those Christmas dolls they go for $300. She hand made them. The heads are made of styrofoam ball and the mouth was made with her thumb print. Yes they held a music score booklet. The body is a wine bottle. She only bought good wine. She used to live in San Diego and sold them like crazy. And, yes for $300+ each.

Hi Dani! I cannot believe the condition of that plastic Holly! It still had the berries... incredible. I thought the first Goodwill had better prices for a general shopper, and at least they priced in multiples for sets. Definitely some cute things. I wasn't sure Tigger was a cup, but I was surprised he was a teapot. Thanks for taking us along in the rain.

Some Goodwill stores do an amazing job of merchandising. Others, like in Ga, they just throw stuff on the shelves with very little order or regard to safety of the items. These you shopped were great! Such wonderful objects.

Dani, that Bright Green and Dark Green ceramic set with the bowl in the middle and the wood spinning tray - I bought that from Goodwill on line☺️ Its huge but made so well. I got it for my booth. I'm tempted to keep it though because it's so pretty and when you need something like that - you can never find anything😆

I no longer shop Goodwill since August 2022 because they raised prices and stopped tag, senior and military discounts. Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul's both have Wednesdays at 30% off for seniors.

I love La Mesa. My son & his family used to live there. I never made into the Goodwill though. I like when you go to new Goodwills. It’s nice to see a change of scenery. I’m proud of you for trying to go with higher price point items. I think that is a good idea for business. xo Edit- I absolutely loved that angel music box! Oh my gosh, as much as I am not buying anything new because I am downsizing, I would have purchased it from you!

11.36. That glass ball you picked up and set down on that jar, I don’t think that belongs to the jar. I think that was an Oleg Cassini globe paperweight. It has a stand and spins perfectly when twirled.

The first Goodwill was really nice,I wish we had thrift stores like Goodwill in the Netherlands. I did like the glass diffuser,pretty colors,such a shame that it was a bit pricey..💁🏻‍♀️

Hi Danni, When you come to San Diego next time, I have a Thrift Store you might enjoy. Jordan might like it as well. It seems to have a higher-end of clothing, at a really good price. After you leave the downtown La Mesa Goodwill, go down Jackson to 8363 Center Dr. Up directly across from Dixieline Lumber is a little Shop. Twice Treasured benefits Missions around the world. It is also less than a mile from the other Goodwill on Lake Murray across from Ross. Hope you'll try it out. Cathleen
