What a clever if spontaneous project! I live near a landfill, and when I do have to visit the landfill, I just hate to see how much scrap lumber is tossed, when you and I could take those scraps and build something with it! When you think about it, what a difference these techniques could make it they would only let us jump in the dumpster and pick through! Great job!

I tried using a decent 2x2x3/4 Baltic birch sheet to make some patterned plywood but it was a disaster. I thought having 10+layers would be a good thing. Even with good squeeze out many layers still broke apart...

You can use Titebond 3. It’s food safe

Im amazed at that dewalt planer. I got the Ridgid to save some money and it would not give as of good of results.
