Lok the isteady x has an inception mode in the software to make it spin the phone. Also the tiny tripod when attached helps holding it otherwise dropping it is easy, :-) they have been bring out resultant firmware and software updates as well which is good to see I had one for a few months mainly as it was cheap.

Not related to the video but I want to ask how do you handle confrontations when someone notices you taking a photo of them? I think a wideo on this would be great!

Thing is, gimbals selling point which is image stabilization is no longer a point when most phones these days have very good built in image stabilization in the camera sensor/ software. You are practically buying a robotized arm rather than a stabilizer. Its just a matter of time that we could be able to buy a phone with flip out gimbal feature that does not need you to buy anything for it.

That was exactly a year ago in Hong Kong when a large part of the world in lockdown. Also in Hong Kong you’re never alone, people are just very mindful of avoiding cameras as they don’t want to mess up your shot.
