i really can't believe this is the only full live version of this incredible song on all of youtube! did he just not play it a lot live or what? this is one of my favorite songs of the 90's and certainly one of the best songs to come out in 1999, hands down.

Yeah. It's such a great song, but has only been played 29 times live. This is the first ever live performance of it. I'd love to see it live in person some day.

@@jtango18 thanks so much for posting it! i was an 18 year old kid in college when i first heard this song. some kid sitting behind me in graphic arts class had it playing. stopped me in my tracks. had to ask him 'Who is this??" "Ben Harper" he said. I went to the music store that day and bought the cd. Still one of my desert island albums, no question.
