Two Harbors Scuba Dive - Lake Superior is Cold This Year!

The surface temp was around 46°F and I was wearing 7mm wetsuit, 5mm gloves and boots and hoodie. After about 5-10 minutes, I new I was done, and started swimming back to shore! BRRRR, good lesson in cold for me, I think them dry suits might be the way to go!

42 degrees on top?? What was it like in the water / below thermal?

It was 46 according to a floating pool thermometer that I brought with. I didn't go any more than 10ft deep and didn't notice much of a difference in temp, just cold!
