Btw, me and some mates did India to Indonesia the following year and then i carried on for a few more years on and off. Just getting back into it now after a decade of being responsible. You really can have it all lads, keep riding and making us laugh. maybe i'll see you on the road down the line.

I've just started watching this, and I'm definitely going to watch the rest of the episodes too! Just wondering what kind of gear you're rolling with, i.e - what bikes, panniers, equipment _in_ the panniers, ect!

Glad you're in for the ride! I was on a Dawes Coast to Coast (I think) and Marlon's was a custom built one from an old steel frame he found. In the panniers is a too detailed list but in groups we had cooking / camping / mechanical / clothes as the main things really!

John o' Groats might well be the 'traditional' top of Scotland- but IT ISN'T THE TOP. The top of Scotland is Dunnet Head. Land's End isn't the bottom of England - the Lizard is. The End to End is still a worthwhile ambition, nevertheless. When I did the End to End from Land's End to Muckle Flugga in Shetland, a lovely Thurso lady priest took me to Dunnet Head to complete that interim hurdle before I embarked north from Scrabster. 874MLS. For some but there are a variety of routes. Mone was about 950. Dare I say it? - they came across as a couple of happy-go-lucky plonkers. I'm baling out and leaving them to it. I assume they got there but am not that engaged.
