Two-Inch Quad Local Spot

Here is an example of a locally produced spot for a public TV station. General Electric PE-400 color cameras were used. The switcher was a Sarkes-Tarzian model and the entire promo was recorded on an Ampex VR-1200 two-inch quad videotape recorder.

Those taps are so crisp (annoying) and the recorded music is muffled. Ahh, how far we've come! BTW, the camera trucking and the lighting sequence was t-a-c-k-y.

WNET NYC is on Channel 13

But this is Dallas, so the Channel 13 would be KERA.
