Welcome to the Philippines! Hope you have time to go visit Mall of Asia, Intramuros (the old Spanish fort), China town in Binondo (oldest in the world) and check out the north side of Philippines (such as Baguio and the rice terraces). There’s the very scenic Tagaytay that is only 2 hours away from metro Manila. I hope you get to do island hopping in the south - Palawan, boracay, and do canyoneering in Cebu. Most tourist end up staying months or keep coming back - there’s lots to do in the Philippines.

Bel video... io sono già stato a Manila e a Makati, Bonifacio, Taguig non ci sono problemi... le cose cambiano se si gira a Malate od Intramuros... ed è un peccato perchè Intramuros è l'unica parte davvero storica di Manila. Con un tour organizzato ci si può andare, ma da solo non mi ci azzarderei...

4:44 even tho people are poor, a lot of them are as nice as the people that are rich. So i wouldn't base a culture on money, but more on their values and morals. Have fun! i love it there. oh 8:49 you guys were talking about being safe and dangerousness... it's only dangerous in some areas, in manila, most of it is safe. it's also a lot of misconceptions because of ISIS or separatists etc, but those are in far away areas. What i get angry about is when people say that Philippines is dangerous. I am from Canada, and i will say there's so many people that get this wrong and believe it's dangerous, and then they go to south america/latin america where it's much more dangerous..... face palm lol

Più che "case popolari" sono vere e proprie baroccopoli, quelle nel centro non sono neanche tanto male, Manila è praticamente circondata da baracche. Il cibo autentico filippino si trova per strada, lumpia, adobo, sticky rice, pesce secco, il mango float, il balut... per il resto come avete detto voi stessi i filippini si infilano nei fast food, la cucina ha diverse influenze: cinesi, indonesiane, anche americane e spagnole. Manila non è da saltare a piè pari turiticamente parlando ma certo non offre un granchè, la parte più storica e interessante è Intramuros dove si trovano i resti della città coloniale spagnola, il museo José Rizal. Gettonato (ma solo perchè non c'è altro) l'Ocean Park, un acquario carino per passare mezza giornata (quello di genova lo batte 10 a 1). Grazie per il video.
