Two methods of garden weed control

What an appropriate time to post this video. I am struggling with the same dilemma. I think we’re going to try weed fabric for the first time

I've used both fabric and plastic, and the plastic is much better at weed control. Check out Harris Seeds and find a color you like. It's pretty easy to put down as long as it isn't windy! 😂

I switched to bodyweight exercises a few years ago, so the dumbbells and kettlebells now get to enjoy retirement as garden help. See you tonight at 9pm!

I like using grass clippings I never used plastic before .

I would like to try the plastic with something like pumpkins or squash, that spread everywhere and are hard to weed. It doesn't make much sense with something like onions.

I like your thinking! Also, tomatoes and peppers like warm feet, so the plastic really does wonders for them.

I would add one more difference between the two methods - cost vs no-cost.

I have so many weeds in my garden it would make no sense for me to do that. People also argue the grass breaking down takes excess nitrogen to break it down. And that nitrogen is not available for the plants. But once it's rotted there is organic material and nitrogen
