Wonderful video. Thank you. I see a little bit of a Dulcimer to your far left that looks like it could be a Hickory Ridge Dulcimer Works made by Jeff Feltman. Do you own one of his Dulcimers? I have a flamed Maple and Engelmann spruce 5 string that he built for me in 1984.

Hi! after watching your video i ordered on amazone a dulcimer, i have received it, it has wooden pegs and the strings won't stay tight, unwind, any advice? I was hoping to follow along with you and learn how to play the dulcimer.

Wood pegs can be hard to work with. Check with the builder if you can. First try pushing in slightly as you turn. Really, it all depends on what’s going on. Take it to someone who can tell you.

Hi dear! Is it possible to put strings on a dulcimer from a guitar corresponding to a caliber?

For the most part, yes. Take your instrument to a good guitar repair person. Have them see what you've got there. Email me at stephen@stephenseifert.com if you still have questions about this.

Drone style sounds best. In this instance, the chord style sounds too busy or dense.

You're showing off your skills but I've not learned a thing for a beginner. Not useful
