Post-stroke anxiety (PSA) and post-stroke depression (PSD) are common among stroke survivors. If you're experiencing PSA or PSD, please talk to your doctor or a licensed mental-health care specialist. It's critically important to address these issues before they become debilitating. At the same time, there are some quick and practical things anyone can do-every day-to help manage anxiety and depression. In this series of Two-Minute Tips videos, we'll be sharing 10 tips for managing your own mental health.
The goal of the American Stroke Foundation is to help stroke survivors continue improving and regaining independence in daily living skills, and to support stroke survivors and their families through their ongoing journey of "life after stroke."
