I can’t tell you how comforting and helpful this series has been for me. I just found out I have a meningioma that needs to be removed. So I will be having a craniotomy. I couldn’t find anything on the internet and love these videos and your hospital bag video! Thank you, thank you! I’m so sorry you are having difficulty sleeping. I would love to see another update and know how you are doing now 😌

So glad you are starting to feel a little normal again! Sorry to tell you this but I am 11 years post brain surgery and I still have a hard time with sleep I take lots of hot baths at night to help with it. Hope things get normal for you soon!!

Yes, RLS is impossible to describe but you know it when you have it. Ask your doctor about the use of magnesium supplement. When I first got RLS it helped me. I have graduated to REQUIP (Ropinerole) which has been a lifesaver it has the added benefit of making you sleepy in addition to stopping the RLS.

I totally meant to circle back in this video and mention that I've been using a magnesium supplement and it's been helping so much! I've never heard of that medication, but I'll have to look into it! Thank you for sharing what's helped you!

I know I'm just a random person on the internet but I tried EVERYTHING for relstless leg and trouble falling asleep. After much scouring the internet I decided to try a magnesium supplement. It took a week or 2 for it to help but now I dont have an issue with either. I'm glad you were able to get out!! You look like you're feeling better! God bless!

I have RLS and a few other conditions all having to do with my nervous system. Try a weighted blanket or even just a layer of blankets when you sleep so your limbs don't jump as badly from the weight holding them down. It doesn't cure it, but makes it less extreme.

The part in your video when you were talking about the increased pressure, throbbing, and washing sound in the head I experience the symptoms quite often especially when going from seated to standing. I am two months post surgery is this typical and normal at this stage in the game to be having the symptoms?
@TheDisneySisters2 жыл бұрын
I can't speak for everyone, but for me, it lasted for a season and did eventually go away. My surgeon did say that these kinds of symptoms are common post-surgery, but they sure are discouraging! Hang in there!
