It’s a nice day, so a father-in-law is waiting impatiently for his son-in-law to visit him. Enter the son-in-law, looking very auspicious in a kimono with a red and white border. His father has decided to go most of the way with him as going alone would be embarrassing. He lets his son put on some formal long hakama trousers, and they set off. Taroukaja notices that the son-in-law’s father has come too, and invites them both to come in. However, the pair hadn’t intended to do so, and only have one pair of formal hakama. They try to go in one at a time, but are implored to come in together. They come up with an idea: tear the hakama in two, wear the halves in front of themselves like aprons, and try to trick everyone by making it seem like they are both wearing hakama. They end up having a banquet. When the son-in-law is asked to entertain everyone with a dance, will he be able to get away with it?
