Two Pints with Will & Ralf is a podcast featuring lifelong friends and professional actors, Ralf Little and Will Mellor. Popularly known from playing main roles together in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, the 2000s show.
Two Pints with Will & Ralf is a throwback for fans of the late and great TV show, where two guys have a few pints, catch up and try put the world right together.
Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps is a British sitcom that ran from 26 February 2001 to 24 May 2011. First broadcast on BBC Two, it starred Ralf Little, Will Mellor, Natalie Casey, Sheridan Smith, Kathryn Drysdale, and Luke Gell. Created and written by Susan Nickson and set in her hometown of Runcorn, Cheshire, it originally revolved around the lives of five twentysomethings. Little departed after the sixth series, and Smith and Drysdale left after the eighth series. The ninth and final series had major changes with new main cast members and new writers.
The core cast was augmented by various recurring characters throughout the series, portrayed by Beverley Callard, Lee Oakes, Hayley Bishop, Thomas Nelstrop, Freddie Hogan, and Georgia Henshaw. The title was inspired by the 1980 song "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please" by Splodgenessabounds. On 23 July 2011, it was confirmed that the series would not return due to the BBC making room for new comedies and feeling that the series had come to a natural end after the departures of most of the main cast members
Ralf Alastair John Little is an English actor, writer, presenter, narrator and former semi-professional footballer, working mainly in television comedy. He played Antony Royle in The Royle Family and Jonny Keogh in the first six series of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Since 2020, he has starred as DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise. He also is the narrator of Channel 5's The Yorkshire Farm, which follows the life of the Owen family on their Yorkshire Farm (2018-2020).
William Mellor is an English actor, singer, and model. He is known for his roles as Jambo Bolton in Hollyoaks, Gaz Wilkinson in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, DC Spike Tanner in No Offence, Steve Connolly in Broadchurch, Georgie in Barking!, and Ollie Curry in White Van Man. In 2021, he began appearing in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street as Harvey Gaskell.

Just bloody brilliant as ever lads. In regards to the remakes... John carpenters The Thing. Far better than the 1950's original. And as for the 2014 robocop remake.... Just don't go there. Cant beat the 1987 original. 👌 Keep up the pods lads... Brilliant.

The subtitles have had some interesting missteps on the occasional word*, but replacing "Two Pints fans" with "Tupacs fans" when Will is on about the conventions was quite funny *glad they have the subtitles and hopefully not knocking them or anyone by commenting

Following your thoughts on remakes I'd like to hear you talk about art censorship. Things like books people say shouldn't be "classics" anymore because of the sexism/racism of the age, or we shouldn't watch old Disney movies for the same reason, e.g. What Makes the Red Man Red in Peter Pan, or the crows in Dumbo. Should we keep things completely as they are and enjoy them as a product of their time, or remove those bits/the whole thing altogether? For me it's the more - art can educate as well as entertain and we can use these things to learn about the past and see how far we've come since. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Did u know banksy hit the Norfolk/Suffolk coast. He left a model he did and planted in the model village in great Yarmouth. He also left a horse and a little girl. It's a poison challice for the model village. They love it and it's amazing they left it. But they've had to pay for security, can't get insurance on the place and can't insure it as have no idea of its value. They'll probably never make the amount it's worth in entry fees but same breath don't want to sell it either. He did pieces in Gorleston, Lowestoft, oulton borad, Cromer, great Yarmouth. He almost got caught at model village as they set off a drone to film it for the video reveal on his insta and the owners went crazy as it was busy and they didn't ask permission to film (they would have let them as well) there was more than one person involved

Scarface was a better remake...the thing.....dare I say Little Shop of Horrors! Haha. Personally I don't mind remakes because if they're not as good then it doesn't bother me. I still have the original to watch. I would like to see a remake of flight of the navigator. It's great but I get a feeling not a lot of people know about it!!
