Their WYAT concert last year is superb as they did dance breaks for their songs off the Pagsibol ep ,in their more recent concert Pagtatag ,although they covered previous songs ,they didn’t do the dance breaks. Those “unique little voices” they were throwing in are actually their simulation of the cackles and lnoise the manananggal makes. Stell’s prolong “scream” is a mimic to the creature’s shriek. Mana is short for manananggal, that mythical creature in Filipino folklore that splits its body in tow:upperpart flies high in search of prey while the bottom part stays on the ground. The song is SB19’s way of saying they may soar high in the career but they stay grounded (humble). Pronounced another way, manananggal also means “remover” (of doubts cast by naysayers for which SB19 has had so many especially during early years).😊 Thanks for rae ting to the boys yet again.
